Hi and Welcome to our centre!
Here at Juniors at Wamberal we pride ourselves in providing high quality care in a safe, fun and nurturing environment. We want to offer your children many exciting experiences that will assist them to grow and develop to their full potential.
We have a beautiful bird aviary, a worm farm, a marine aquarium and beautiful gardens and trees for the children to play around. We also promote an environmentally friendly atmosphere within the centre.
As a mother of three active boys I know how important it is to offer healthy, wholesome meals, all meals are prepared in our kitchen. I hold a Certificate 111 in fitness training and we will be educating your children in nutrition and the importance of exercise to keep them mentally and physically strong. Fun fitness classes will also be included in our daily routine.
Our staff are enthusiastic and committed to early education and we constantly update their skills through inter-action with other professionals and in service training. Our staff are also dedicated to providing your child with an early education and a developmentally based program.
We understand and value the importance of parents in our centre and the role that you play in your child’s lives therefore we strongly encourage parents to play an active role in day-to-day activities.
Ask any child what they like to do and they will happily answer ‘play’ and so they will. But, with our qualified teachers’ guidance, this play is carefully designed to promote early learning. and math readiness activities that seem like entertaining games and enjoyable discussions are actually helping children approach more difficult concepts.
Your child will experience both indoor and outdoor play. Outdoor play will be in accordance to the “sun safe” policy. Puzzles, books, art and craft, construction, manipulative activities, pre-reading, pre-writing, drama, music and lots more will be on offer to enhance your child’s skills. We aim to work with you to help your child develop physically, socially, intellectually and emotionally.
